ABOUT US
Using the power of music, in a wide variety of historic and cultural genres, Pacific Coast Chorale honors and develops intercultural and intergenerational understanding through performance, collaboration, education, and community outreach.
Throughout its history, Pacific Coast Chorale has performed at prestigious theatres, including performing classical masterworks with City Ballet of San Diego at the historic Spreckels Theatre, and has served as community ambassadors for the San Diego Central Public Library, performing at its grand opening and at numerous library branches throughout the city. The choir also performs regularly in choral festivals, at senior living facilities, art festivals, universities, and houses of worships of all faiths.
Pacific Coast Chorale has hosted youth choirs and orchestras, including East County Youth Symphony, and has welcomed other conductors in a cooperative environment of collaboration and growth. Our most recent collaboration was as the back-up choir to the world's most beloved tenor, Andrea Bocelli, at the Pechanga Arena Sports Stadium in San Diego.
Dedicated to community outreach, Pacific Coast Chorale has also participated in multiple fundraisers for local high school musical programming, youth theater, youth orchestra, families of first responders, and those living with Parkinson’s Disease.
Pacific Coast Chorale maintains a busy year-round schedule of performances and strives to unify diverse residents of San Diego in the spirit of community enrichment through the art of choral music.
Pacific Coast Chorale is open to all people with a strong work ethic for musical study, regardless
of race, religion, gender, age, ancestry, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military
status.
